Vintage 9ct Yellow Gold Curb Link Albert Watch Chain with Sliding Fob
The perfect 9ct yellow gold graduated double Albert curb link watch chain with a sliding t-bar (or fob).
These are as rare as hen's teeth for some reason. I actually think it is the first yellow gold curb fob I have sold. So, a very hard to find 9ct yellow gold curb link chain with two dog clips (swivels) and a fob, which can be clipped onto the dog clips, worn so it slides along the chain or taken off all together. The chain is beautifully graduated. Not only is she yellow gold and beautifully made, she is a very hard to find length of 470mm (47cm) and weighs a substantial 50 grams. I wonderful investment, given gold prices and a fraction of what a new chain would cost.
Based on her hallmarks, I believe she is Australian made. She looks antique, especially given that she is graduated, but there are no date stamps or maker's marks, so I am selling her as vintage. She is a beautiful buttery gold colour and is in excellent antique condition, with very little wear. Both of the dogclips are in good condition and are very secure. She is smothered in hallmarks for 9ct gold. Every curb link is hallmarked as well as most of the round links, dogclips and fob.

A beautiful yellow gold watch chain, these are impossible to find. She would look gorgeous layered with other necklaces or worn on her own. A beautiful wear everyday signature piece.
