Victorian Sterling Silver and Enamel Bangle with Seed Pearls
Gorgeous antique bangle made in late 1800's. Fashioned in sterling silver with black enamel over the top and inset seed pearls. This is a beautiful example of Victorian era jewellery.
There is a lovely hand engraved flower with radiating foliage to the front, which shows the silver surrounded by black enamel. The flowers have been inset with tiny seed pearls. The edges of the front and back have lovely hand chased silver edges. English in origin and with a push-in tongue and groove closure, which is secure.
The bangle is in good antique condition, especially considering its age, she does have a small amount of damage to some of the enamel, along the edges mainly on the back. this is not overly noticeable. The enamel on the back also has some light surface scratching, but it doesn't detract from her beauty. Her hinge and clasp are in good condition and she is hallmarked for her maker.
This beautiful bangle looks amazing worn with other bracelets, both vintage and modern. She is an amazing wear everyday signature piece. She is quite small, so please check her measurements prior to purchase.
