Victorian Old Cut Diamond and Ruby Five Stone Ring
Beautiful antique Victorian 18 carat yellow gold, old cut diamond and ruby five stone ring.
A very impressive ring, she has three diamonds which are old cut, cut by hand 100 years ago. They are an excellent colour and cut and sparkle beautifully. The two rubies are a rich deep burgundy red, they reflect the light beautifully, with lots of fire.
A stunning ring, she is made in a half bridge style with the stones claw set. She has a beautiful, finely detailed gallery. She would make a spectacular and very special engagement ring or ruby anniversary ring, or just add her to your stack.
The shaft and setting are in very good condition. She has been completely re-tipped and rejuvenated by my jeweller. She is currently quite a large size, however can be resized. The stones show signs of wear commensurate with age, but this does not detract from their beauty. The setting sides were worn from wear by other rings, however this has been repaired.
She comes with a replacement valuation for $10,610.
