Victorian 10ct Yellow Gold Horseshoe Compass Pendant
An incredibly beautiful and unique Victorian 10ct yellow gold horseshoe pendant, with a working compass.
Originally a watch fob, what an amazing good luck charm she would be. Beautifully gold cased, with a glass fronted compass in the centre, that works, even after over 100 years! She has a horseshoe surround and is see through.
She was sold to me as a yellow gold cased compass with a rose gold surround, but I believe the surround is more yellow than rose, that said she could easily be worn with either given that the gold has that beautiful rosy glow which comes with age.
Compasses are such meaningful pieces, symbols of direction and travel and with the addition of the horseshoe for luck, what an amazing signature piece. She comes with a Pandora rose gold plated connector, so you can easily clip her to your chains.
