Antique Cultured Pearls with 18ct Diamond and Iolite Clasp

A beautiful, classic string of graduated white cultured pearls, with a stunning 18ct white gold diamond and Iolite clasp.

I love this necklace, she is made from cultured white pearls that are beautifully graduated.  I suspect that she has been recently restrung and hand knotted as she is in such excellent condition.  She has a stunning clasp, made of 18ct white gold, it features six small diamonds and a magnificent cabochon iolite.

Iolite is blue gemstone, known for its pleochroism, which means it can appear to change color depending on the angle of light.  It's also known as "water sapphire" and has been historically associated with the Vikings, who are said to have used it as a compass to locate the sun on cloudy days.  Iolite is believed to enhance intuition, spiritual insight, and creativity. 

She looks lovely worn on her own, but I love her layered with other necklaces and with that gorgeous clasp at the front.  She is a stunning wear everyday necklace.
