Antique 9ct Rose Gold Curb Link Albert Watch Chain with Sliding Fob
A simply stunning antique Albert curb link watch chain in 9ct rose gold with a sliding t-bar (or fob).
A very hard to find 9ct rose gold curb link chain, with two dog clips (swivels) and a fob, which can be clipped onto the dog clips, worn so it slides along the chain or taken off all together. The chain is not graduated, it is the same width from end to end. She is the perfect classic length at 445mm. Based on her hallmarks, I believe she is Australian made.
She is a beautiful old rose gold colour and is in excellent antique condition, with very little wear. Both of the dogclips are in good condition and are very secure. The chain, fob and one of the dogclips are hallmarked for different makers, so I would assume that the fob and dogclips have been replaced, although they still look antique, so either a long time ago or antique components have been sourced. The two dogclips are slightly different however this is not noticeable when worn. She is smothered in hallmarks for 9ct gold. Every curb link is hallmarked as well as most of the round links, dogclips and fob.

A beautiful rose gold watch chain, these are just getting harder and harder to find. She would look gorgeous layered with other necklaces or worn on her own. A beautiful wear everyday signature piece.
