Antique 15ct Rose Gold Double Trombone and Knot Link Albert Watch Chain with Fob
A very special antique Australian double trombone and knot link Albert watch chain in solid 15ct rose gold, with sliding fob, a dog clip and a bolt ring clasp.
A beautiful and very desirable chain, these are getting harder and harder to find, especially ones in 15ct. She is very well made with longer double trombone links alternating with three really lovely knot links. This one is 395mm long, and is relatively fine for a watch chain which makes her the perfect wear everyday necklace.
She is in excellent antique condition and is a gorgeous rosy gold colour, that only 100 year old gold can be. She is smothered in 15ct hallmarks, please see the hallmark section below. Based on the style of the hallmarks and her design she is most likely Australian made, circa 1910 to 1920's. She has a dogclip and a beautiful bolt ring clasp. Both are in good condition, work perfectly and are very secure. The dogclip and bolt ring clasp offer endless opportunities to style her, she can be worn with the fob in any position and/or pendants attached easily to either clasp.
She comes with an independent replacement valuation for $15,500. A true investment piece, she is a beautiful, versatile and increasingly rare necklace and the perfect wear everyday piece.
