9 carat Rose Gold Round Watch Medal
A beautiful round 9 carat yellow gold watch medal with a raised cartouche on the front with hand engraving.
It was made by Thomas James Skelton of Vyse Street Birmingham, England and was assayed in Chester in the UK in 1900. He has done a magnificent job, and this medal has been cherished as it looks brand new.
On the front is beautiful hand chased fourishes surrounding a raised shield shaped cartouche which has been engraved with "BODV 1043". A yellow gold "wash" has been applied over the flat sections of the medal which has picked out the edges of the medal and the engraving. On the back is engraved "W.ROBINSON, 76 FIELDING AV, TWICKENHAM".
It is in excellent condition and has been polished up and is ready to attach to your watch chain or other necklace. A gorgeous and very nice to wear medal.
