1894 Victorian 9ct Yellow Gold Maltese Cross Medal
A very beautiful and unique Victorian 9ct yellow gold watch medal. This Maltese cross shaped pendant has been beautifully crafted, with elaborate hand chasing to the front.
The front has stunning flourishes hand engraved on it. The back is not engraved. It is in excellent antique condition, She is hall marked for 9ct gold and 1894. She was made by Charles Daniel Broughton of st Paul's Square Birmingham, one of my favourite jewellers from that period as his quality and attention to detail is always amazing to behold.
This medal is a very old piece, 131 years of age and still in such lovely condition. A small but stunning piece of history that could easily be worn everyday.
