Art Deco Style 3.15 carat Diamond Dome Ring in 18ct White Gold
An absolutely magnificent Art Deco style diamond dome or bombe ring with over three carats of old European cut and round brilliant cut diamonds set in 18ct white gold.
Words cannot describe how amazing this ring is! She is absolutely mesmerising, an absolute sparkle bomb. Set with a very impressive 3.15 carats of mixed cut diamonds, she has three stunning old European cut diamonds in her centre, the largest is 1.10 carat with two 0.30 carat diamonds each side. There are another eighteen round brilliant cut diamonds of mixed sizes all bead or pave set. The use of antique and more modern diamonds would tend to indicate that the ring was made to use diamonds from an old setting.
She is in excellent condition, she did have a chipped diamond and some thinning of the diamond setting, however I have had Kalmar Antiques of Sydney replace the diamond and re bead all the diamond settings, as well as polish and rhodium plate her. She is in as new condition.
The diamonds are spectacular and sparkle beautifully. Even though the central diamond is a bit warmer in colour, all the diamonds face up white. They all have very good clarity.
She comes with an independent replacement valuation for $26,300 from Kalmar Antiques of Sydney to have her remade.
This is a spectacular statement ring in excellent vintage condition.
