1921 Sterling Silver Watch Medallion with Rose Gold Cartouche
A stunning and very special sterling silver watch medal with a rose gold plated shield shaped cartouche.
A lovely substantial shield shaped silver watch medal, surrounded with a laurel wreath with a hand engraved rose gold plated cartouche in the centre. On the front is engraved "J.P." in the centre with "BAPTIST" above it and CRADLEY below. On the back is engraved "L&D.S.S.F.L. WINNERS DIV I 1921.2"
The medal is hallmarked for Thomas James Skelton of Vyse Street Birmingham and was assayed in Chester, UK in 1921 for sterling silver.
A beautiful and very well made watch medal. I love the combination of sterling silver and rose gold, it also means that you can wear this medal on a silver/white gold chain or a rose gold chain. Would look amazing clipped to an Albert watch chain.
