1878 Victorian Sterling Silver and Rose Gold Heart & Horseshoe Brooch
A really lovely Victorian antique sterling silver horseshoe and heart brooch, with rose gold plated pieces.
This beautifully detailed brooch has a horseshoe surrounded by flowers and foliage all rose gold plated inside a silver ring with rope detail and arms sweeping out each side with a heart and flower on each. There are cute little silver balls on each end also. She looks quite delicate, however is quite solid, she is in excellent condition with no dents. She has a pin on the back which holds her nice and secure.
She is hallmarked and was made by the Sydenham Brothers of Tenby Street Birmingham UK in 1878, and is hallmarked for sterling silver.
She would make a beautiful addition to an outfit worn as a brooch or she could also be used to extend a watch chain.
What an amazingly beautiful good luck charm.
