1882 Victorian Sterling Silver Studded Cuff Bangle
Gorgeous antique bangle made in 1882. Fashioned in sterling silver with striking stud detail. This is a beautiful example of Victorian era jewellery. English in origin and with a push-in tongue and groove closure, which is secure.
The bangle is in good antique condition, especially considering its age, she does have some minor dents to the back and front, which could be removed by a jeweller, but it doesn't detract from her beauty and I think enhances it. Her hinge and clasp are in good condition.
She is signed "J.H" for the maker, however it is not obvious who her maker was, from what I can find out it is most likely Joseph Hirst of London, with the bracelet hallmarked for silver in Birmingham, UK.
This beautiful bangle looks amazing worn with other bracelets, both vintage and modern. She is an amazing wear every day signature piece. She is quite small, so please check the dimensions.
