I have a number of processes when buying and listing jewellery that helps to ensure that I provide beautiful pieces of jewellery at great value for money and that there are no nasty surprises for you, the customer. I want to keep you coming back again and again.
Buying Strategy
I only ever buy pieces that I would be happy to add to my own collection (this can make it painful to sell a lot of them!). I would never buy a "job lot" and it is also why I have decided not to sell on consignment, as I want complete control over the pieces I sell. I scour the world to find beautiful, unique and rare pieces.

At The Estate, we are passionate about making beautiful antique and vintage jewellery accessible. Because we operate exclusively online — with no bricks and mortar store, no retail overheads, and no staff costs — we are able to pass those savings directly on to you. This means you can shop with confidence, knowing that you are getting exceptional pieces at genuinely competitive prices.
Independent Professional Valuations
Each of our pieces are checked to ensure they are what we think they are. Diamonds, gems and metals are all tested, and each piece is checked to ensure that it is in wearable condition which includes making repairs where necessary. The majority of our pieces also come with an independent professional valuation, so you can purchase with complete confidence knowing the true value of your piece.
Natural Photography
All of our photos are taken using natural lighting — no ring lights, lightboxes, Photoshop, or AI optimisation. What you see is exactly what you get, true to colour and character. That goes for my photo too! 😄
Detailed, Honest Descriptions
Every piece is described in full and in great detail — no surprises when your jewellery arrives. We believe you should know exactly what you are buying, and we take pride in providing thorough, accurate descriptions for every item in our collection. No one wants to be disappointed when they receive jewellery they have purchased online.

7-Day Returns
There is one major obstacle when buying jewellery online and that is that you can't physically see it and try it on. In order to decrease the risk of buying a piece that you don't absolutely love, we offer a seven day return period. If for any reason you are not completely happy with your item, you are welcome to return it within seven days of receipt for a full refund, no questions asked.
