1912 9ct Rose Gold Shield Shaped Watch Medallion by William Hair Haselar
A stunning and very special antique 9ct rose gold watch medal made by the esteemed jeweller William Hair Haselar.
You can pick a Hair Haselar medal from a mile away, they really are next level in terms of workmanship. William Hair Haselar who was a well known and very successful silver and goldsmith. Established in 1870, from 1898 to 1926 he was in partnership with Liberty of London to produce a number of silver collections for the Liberty stores. His pieces are highly collectible with pieces in the Victoria and Albert museum and numerous other British museums.
This medal is double sided, which is rare. On one side is hand engraved "AWARDED TO TH" with a beautiful TH monogram, on the other side is the same monogram and above it "APRIL 1913".
A beautiful and extremely well made watch medal, in excellent condition. She would look amazing worn on a watch chain or on a fine chain. A very special family heirloom to pass down.
